Red Bull loses £40 million annual sponsor, AvaTrade steps in as first replacement. No renewal between the Milton Keynes team Red Bull and the Bybit brand.

Bybit Contributed £120 Million Over Three Years
Red Bull has lost its second-largest sponsor in terms of revenue after Oracle, which formalized a five-year partnership with the Milton Keynes team in 2022, valid until 2026, for a total of $500 million (£100 million per year).

According to the *Daily Mail*, the Chinese cryptocurrency brand Bybit has not renewed its contract with Red Bull. Over three years, Bybit contributed approximately £120 million to Red Bull’s coffers. Now, the team faces a significant gap in sponsorship revenue to fill. The departure of Sergio Perez also means the loss of Mexican brands backed by the telecommunications giant Telmex.

During the Abu Dhabi tests, the Irish trading brand AvaTrade already appeared on the RB20 cars driven by Yuki Tsunoda and Isack Hadjar. Additional announcements are expected ahead of the 2025 season as Red Bull seeks new sponsors to balance the losses. Perhaps Verstappen’s recent wish for a livery change might be influenced by the arrival of new partners.
