Pierre Gasly reignites Alpine hopes in Brazil: “Anything can happen at Interlagos”. Pierre Gasly looks ahead to the 2025 Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos.

Pierre Gasly, Alpine 2025 F1

After a week off following the Mexican Grand Prix, Formula 1 returns to the legendary Interlagos circuit for the Brazilian Grand Prix, the twenty-first round of the 2025 World Championship. A historic track full of charm and often the stage for unpredictable races, it reignites fans’ passion and the teams’ hopes in a season finale that is still wide open.

At Alpine, Pierre Gasly arrives in São Paulo with the smile of someone who has experienced unforgettable moments at this track, while also fully aware of the challenges of a complex championship for the French team.

Pierre Gasly’s words ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix

Pierre Gasly began the press conference by recalling his special connection with Interlagos: “I have great memories in Brazil, my first podium and then last year’s podium as well. Both days were special, but the first one in particular.”

The French driver then analyzed Alpine’s prospects for the Brazilian weekend, maintaining a realistic yet optimistic tone: “I don’t think we will be more competitive here at Interlagos, but we are aware of that. As Charles Leclerc said, there’s always the unpredictability factor, which can make a difference. We’ve taken a step back compared to others, and it hasn’t been an easy year, but we believe that 2026 could change things, and I’m proud of the work being done.”

Pierre Gasly also emphasized the importance of staying focused and motivated, even during a challenging season: “The most important part is keeping motivation high, to avoid frustration when points and performance don’t come. You need to consider everyone working both on track and in the factory, thinking also about the 2026 project. In the car, I try not to lose sight of the bigger picture.”
