Formula 1 has taken another break from racing for about three weeks before returning to the track in Las Vegas. The drivers have used this time to recharge and enjoy some relaxation. Oscar Piastri, however, is not among them; he chose to leave McLaren behind and get behind the wheel of one of Jeremy Clarkson’s tractors. However, not everything went as expected.

The Formula 1 world took a pause before facing the final triple-header of the season. With many points still up for grabs, the drivers’ and constructors’ championships are yet to be decided. To ensure they are as refreshed as possible for the final events, many drivers opted for some downtime.

Oscar Piastri, however, decided to get to work on one of the world’s most famous farms. The McLaren driver chose to spend some time with Jeremy Clarkson, the iconic face of *Top Gear* and *The Grand Tour.*

Sharing his experience on his social media channels, the young Australian admitted that a “Piastri’s Farm” won’t be coming anytime soon. This was a lighthearted nod to what the former TV host has created, as Clarkson is now highly active on social media discussing his farming activities.

With the many tasks and jobs on a farm, Oscar Piastri decided to give it a try. Naturally, he chose a task related to motors—driving a tractor in reverse, complete with a trailer in tow.

Captured by Jeremy Clarkson, in a video later shared on both of their social media channels, Oscar Piastri can be seen driving a Fendt. Focused on reversing the tractor with the trailer attached, the McLaren driver did not seem entirely at ease. In fact, while driving in reverse, it becomes evident how the trailer moves in the opposite direction to the tractor. With an extra point of movement beyond the tractor’s rotation center, the trailer’s maneuvering becomes extremely complex. For example, steering left causes the trailer to move right, making reverse maneuvers quite challenging.

Despite this, Oscar Piastri started to get the hang of maneuvering articulated vehicles and even received compliments from Jeremy Clarkson’s friend.
