After closing 2024 with the Constructors’ Championship, McLaren looks ahead to 2025 with great optimism. The papaya team has a solid foundation and can also rely on two skilled drivers like Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, both capable of winning races and aiming to dethrone Max Verstappen.
In the team radio immediately following the Constructors’ Championship victory, Lando Norris confidently stated his belief in winning the Drivers’ Championship, aiming to bring the title back to Woking 17 years after Lewis Hamilton’s triumph in the chaotic Interlagos race of 2008.

A car that, with fewer mistakes, could have allowed Norris to pose a much stronger threat to Verstappen.
