Helmut Marko reacts to what happened to Max Verstappen and Christian Horner during F175 show. A brief comment from Red Bull’s advisor on what happened during the F175 show.

How Many Boos for Red Bull
The Formula 1 World Championship presentation ceremony held on February 18 at the O2 Arena in London had little journalistic substance. Stiff drivers, minimal and formal statements, in a gala setting that was nothing more than a grand show with music and choreography taking center stage.

In this context, the only noteworthy moment was when Red Bull unveiled its 2025 livery to the audience, as world champion Max Verstappen and team principal Christian Horner were met with boos and audible ‘buuu’ sounds.

Helmut Marko’s Comment
The FIA took a stand against the protesters, labeling the public’s reaction as ‘tribal’ and heavily criticizing the lack of respect towards two key figures in Formula 1. In Bahrain for testing, Max Verstappen explained that he hadn’t heard anything, brushing it off with a joke: “Maybe I’m deaf.”

Helmut Marko, when asked about it by his countrymen at Oe24, gave a brief response: “The boos for Max? The British fans are against him. The ones for Horner? No comment.”
