Fernando Alonso a surprise actor: cameo in Francesca Michielin’s Sanremo 2025 Music Video – VIDEO. Fernando Alonso took on the role of an exceptional 'chauffeur' for Francesca Michielin.

Fernando Alonso at the Wheel for Michielin
Fernando Alonso can truly do it all. The 43-year-old champion from Oviedo—who this year will embark on his 22nd season in Formula 1 and has also competed in WEC, the Indy500, and even the Dakar—has taken on a new challenge: acting. The two-time world champion made a cameo appearance in the music video for his friend Francesca Michielin’s song *Fango in Paradiso*, currently competing at the Sanremo 2025 Festival.

In the video, Fernando Alonso is behind the wheel of a car—naturally, an Aston Martin—serving as Michielin’s exceptional driver. The connection between the two is nothing new: the singer has never hidden her admiration for the two-time world champion, whom she considers one of her idols and to whom she dedicated a song in 2018, simply titled *Alonso*.

This is not the first time Fernando Alonso has had a small role in the entertainment world. In 2011 and 2017, he contributed to the Spanish-language dubbing of *Cars 2* and *Cars 3*.
