The VF-25 cars will feature a distinct livery to celebrate the United States Grand Prix, following similar approaches used in Japan and Canada earlier in the season. At Suzuka, the team showcased a unique pink livery to mark a recent technical collaboration with Toyota. In Montreal, the special grey livery celebrated the team’s 200th Formula 1 race weekend.
For Austin, stars-and-stripes graphics will be added to the front wing, nose, sidepods, engine cover, and rear wing endplates of the cars. The Haas F1 Team has consistently used American-themed special liveries for the US GP since separating from its former main sponsor, Uralkali, in early 2022.
Team comments
Esteban Ocon, driving for Haas alongside Oliver Bearman, spoke about the new livery for the Austin GP. He highlighted that this is one of their home races, and he expects the American fans to create a fantastic atmosphere throughout the weekend. Ocon expressed excitement to show off the special livery and hopes it will give their home supporters plenty of reasons to cheer for the team.
In addition to the livery, Haas will bring minor updates to both cars to try and climb the Constructors’ Championship standings, where they currently sit ninth. Team Principal Ayao Komatsu explained that the team is bringing a small upgrade package, but given the sprint weekend format, they will have only the first practice session to evaluate the parts.
Komatsu emphasized that it will be crucial to start the weekend strongly. “It will be even more essential to get off to a good start this weekend,” he concluded.
