Details have emerged linking McLaren CEO Zak Brown to Lando Norris’ company Quadrant
During the ongoing legal dispute between McLaren and Alex Palou, several details have emerged that could damage not only the reputation of Zak Brown but also that of McLaren Racing.
It has come to light that the Woking-based team’s CEO served as a director at Quadrant, Lando Norris’ company, until last July. Quadrant started as a sim racing team during the coronavirus pandemic but has since expanded into various activities, including e-sports and team-related merchandise production.
This situation represents a clear conflict of interest, although it is currently unclear whether it will affect Brown’s tenure at McLaren. Despite his contract being renewed through 2030, Formula 1 history shows that such agreements do not always guarantee job security in high-profile management roles.
