Visa Cash App Racing Bulls has launched a project in favor of environmental sustainability. Here are the details. During these days of impressive presentations and the first test kilometers driven by various drivers on European circuits, an F1 team, Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, which has been involved in TPC tests with its new pair, Japanese Yuki Tsunoda and debutant French Isack Hadjar, at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Circuit in Imola, has started an important plan for the environment.
The Faenza-based team, a satellite of Red Bull, has entered into an agreement with the Imola-based company Cefla, which specializes in the design and construction of technological plants in the civil, industrial, and energy sectors. Cefla will be responsible for making the VCARB facility, which was once the Minardi facility, zero-emission.
This project was born from the commitment between Liberty Media, through F1 and its “Net Carbon Zero” program, and Red Bull GmbH. This agreement represents another step forward for the Faenza team toward achieving carbon neutrality. Cefla will thus put into practice the “Nova” technology, an experimental technology presented in October 2022.
F1 is moving toward “Net Carbon Zero,” a goal to be reached by 2030. The fact remains that, with a calendar of 24 Grand Prix races and all the logistics involved in a major event like F1, it will not be easy.
