Stake F1 Team reveals special livery for F1 Japanese GP… or is it a joke?. Stake’s Japanese GP livery: Wagyu-inspired design or an April Fools’ prank? .

Sauber C45, 2025 F1

After Red Bull, the Swiss team Stake has also unveiled its special livery for this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix. To celebrate the event, the team led by Mattia Binotto has chosen a theme inspired by Japanese culinary culture, particularly the famous Wagyu beef, a world-renowned delicacy.

The iconic green of Stake is replaced by a vibrant red, a clear reference to the glowing embers traditionally used to cook the meat. The announcement was made through the team’s official social media channels, accompanied by a video showcasing the new livery in all its glory. We will see it for the first time on track this Friday during FP1—unless it’s an April Fools’ joke.
