Isack Hadjar is making a strong impression in Formula 1 with consistent results and a winning mentality. Racing Bulls’ team principal Alan Permane has praised the young driver’s composure in challenging moments.
Isack Hadjar is leaving a significant mark in his debut Formula 1 season. The young Franco-Algerian driver for Racing Bulls has scored 22 points during the first half of the 2025 championship, firmly establishing himself in a solid 13th place in the drivers’ standings. His best result so far has been an extraordinary sixth place finish at the Monaco Grand Prix, but it is primarily his attitude and mindset that have impressed the team’s leadership.
Alan Permane, the new team principal of Racing Bulls, publicly commended Isack Hadjar for his ability to stay calm and reflective even when things do not go as planned. He highlighted Hadjar’s strength in self-reflection, noting that the driver never immediately blames the car or the team after a setback. Instead, Hadjar consistently asks himself what he can do better. Permane pointed out that this level of maturity and accountability is rare for such a young driver.
Despite a recent slight dip in form, with only one point scored across the last five races, Isack Hadjar remains optimistic about his potential. His speed has never been in question, and he believes the key is to piece everything together when it matters most. Isack Hadjar stated that both the talent and the car are there; now it is just a matter of delivering when it counts.
Having already been the runner-up in the 2024 Formula 2 championship, Hadjar appears ready for ambitions of even greater heights. His mature approach combined with strong performances positions him as one of the hottest prospects for a future role alongside Red Bull’s current star driver, Max Verstappen.
With half the 2025 season still ahead, all eyes remain fixed on Isack Hadjar. The talent is undeniable, the mindset equally so. It remains to be seen what surprises the second half of the year will bring for this rising star.
