Christian Horner, Red Bull Team Principal, recently had to clarify questions about his future and which team he will be connected to in the coming years. In recent weeks, much speculation has arisen, focusing more on team principals than on the driver market. On Friday in Canada, Fred Vasseur responded firmly to all the rumors swirling around the Ferrari team. Christian Horner was quick to respond as well, denying the rumors about leaving Red Bull.
Christian Horner reiterated that he will continue in his role as Red Bull’s Team Principal. Stability will be crucial given the significant changes coming in 2026. The regulation change will be challenging for all teams, even more so for the Austrian squad, which will begin producing its power units in partnership with Ford starting next season.
The Red Bull TP leaves no doubt about his future. He stated that he will not be going anywhere, not even to Alpine. Christian Horner noted that speculation is always rife in the paddock but confirmed he has been with Red Bull for 21 years and has no intention of leaving. Later, he acknowledged the prestige of rival teams and admitted it is flattering to be linked with great groups like Ferrari.
Returning to Red Bull, Christian Horner emphasized that his heart and soul are with the team. He has invested much of his life there and feels a strong responsibility toward his employees. He stressed that people make the team, and he feels deeply connected to them, including the team itself, shareholders who support them, sponsors, and partners.
