In recent seasons, the question of who is currently the best Formula 1 driver has never had a clear majority answer among fans: is it the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, or the reigning three-time world champion Max Verstappen? This question was also posed to former driver Ralf Schumacher by *formule1.de*, and he had no doubts about it.

Michael Schumacher’s brother, in fact, “voted” for Red Bull’s #1: “In terms of talent, Max still has an edge.” With six races remaining in the championship, Max Verstappen is still in contention for the world title despite McLaren’s strong comeback, and after the controversial end to the 2021 championship, he remains the man to beat.
