McLaren celebrates its return to American soil with a special livery featuring Google Chrome for the 2024 Austin Grand Prix in the United States, set to appear on track during the Circuit of The Americas weekend. McLaren continues its tradition of showcasing special liveries throughout the 2024 Formula One season. For the Austin race, the team has once again opted for unique colors.
Not only that: the Woking team also celebrates the return of Google Chrome to its livery. Additionally, silver details have been incorporated, reminiscent of the old McLaren livery from the Lewis Hamilton era, when he won his first world title.
Here, then, is the livery that Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will use as they try to score more points in the constructors’ championship battle. McLaren, in fact, aims to further solidify its first place. This is the only way to pull ahead of Red Bull, which seems to be struggling more and more.
The social media profiles of the Woking team had created some hype in the last few hours. They had teased the livery with a few spoiler posts featuring silver tones, hinting at the design crafted for the stars and stripes circuit.
At Circuit of The Americas, Lando Norris, in particular, hopes to fight to reduce the gap to Max Verstappen in the drivers’ championship, which currently stands at 52 points. There are still 6 races left to conclude this championship. After Austin, there will be Mexico, Brazil, Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi for an increasingly intense world title battle.
