A unique livery for the Texan Grand Prix
In Texas, Racing Bulls will showcase a special livery inspired by the Cash App Tortoise Card, the main partner of the team. The design features a pearlescent black base with amber accents arranged in a tortoise-shell pattern. This striking motif extends beyond the car itself, appearing on the team’s suits and garage, creating a visually cohesive presentation. It is certainly a livery that does not lack originality.
Midfield battle heats up
With six races remaining in the season, the fight in the midfield is becoming increasingly intense. Several teams are competing for strong positions in the championship, which translates into richer rewards for the next season. Despite the fierce competition, innovation continues to thrive: for example, Haas will bring its final technical upgrade package of the year to Austin.
Marketing and promotional opportunities in the US
For teams, the Texas round also provides fertile ground for marketing initiatives and promotional activities. Interest in Formula 1 is growing rapidly in the United States, with three races now on the calendar. It is therefore not surprising that teams often debut special liveries, and Racing Bulls will arrive in Austin with a refreshed and attention-grabbing design.
The VCARB02 tortoise livery
The VCARB02 will feature a pearlescent black tortoise design with amber details, a visual motif that goes beyond aesthetics. Developed in collaboration with title partner Cash App, the livery reflects the team’s established approach of turning Formula 1 into a crossroads of cultural expressions and creative influences.
Culture, music, and fashion
This cultural crossroads combines music, fashion, and popular culture in a country that celebrates grandeur and boldness. The launch was accompanied by the presence of Shaboozey, a multi-platinum singer-songwriter and producer, chosen to embody the spirit of cultural fusion the team wants to convey.
A deliberately theatrical choice
This is not a “classic” or elegant livery, like those that usually accompany the team’s 2025 Faenza car. It is instead a deliberately theatrical choice, designed to capture attention and convey a message: Racing Bulls aims to stand out in the imagination as well, turning the car’s bodywork into a visual statement.
Inspired by the Cash App Tortoise Card
The Texan VCARB02 draws inspiration from the Cash App Tortoise Card, a customizable prepaid Visa debit card that promises to put users “in the driver’s seat” of their finances. From this concept comes the tortoise motif, symbolizing solidity and resilience, resulting in a livery that is undeniably original.
An immersive weekend experience
The design extends beyond the car itself, encompassing the drivers’ suits, team kit, and even the garage setup, transforming the entire Texan weekend into a cohesive, immersive experience. “Once again, we have been able to draw on culture in a way that is uniquely ours,” emphasized Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer.
A bold expression of identity
“These special liveries have become part of our identity: moments where motorsport meets music, fashion, and creativity. The design we bring to the track this weekend is another bold expression of that spirit, and Austin is the perfect place to bring it to life.”
