The start of the 2025 F1 season is getting closer. In just over a month, on March 16, the Australian Grand Prix will return as the opening round. February will finally bring the chance to see all the new cars both on track and at various team launch events. Aston Martin has now revealed the date for the unveiling of its 2025 F1 challenger—here’s when and where to follow the event.
The “Green Machine” from Silverstone did not end last season on a high note. After exceeding expectations in 2023, with Fernando Alonso at times even challenging world champion Max Verstappen, performance took a sharp downturn in 2024.
The team finished the championship in fifth place, far ahead of its closest rivals but significantly behind the top four teams. This season, Lawrence Stroll’s team will do everything possible to return to where a brand of its prestige deserves to be.
However, the real opportunities will come in 2026, when Aston Martin switches to Honda power units and benefits from the expertise of Adrian Newey. The legendary British engineer, who played a crucial role in Red Bull’s success, will only be able to work with the Silverstone team starting next year, once his gardening leave ends.
When and how to follow the event?
As the season approaches, Aston Martin has confirmed that it will unveil its new car, the AMR25, on February 23. While all teams will reveal their liveries at the major launch event in London on February 18, the actual Aston Martin challenger will be unveiled a few days later.
The event will be broadcast on the team’s official channels. Shortly after the launch, from February 26 to 28, Aston Martin will hit the track alongside all other teams for the official pre-season tests at the Bahrain circuit.
