Andrea Stella’s comments after the Red Bull Ring one-two finish
At the end of the race, Andrea Stella reviewed what happened during the Sunday at Spielberg. “We need to analyze the car’s performance to understand what our true strengths are. Coming from Canada, we knew this was a track that suited our car. It must be said that we brought upgrades, like suspension and front wing. It wasn’t easy since the cars are now very aerodynamically mature. I thank the team for the work done. This upgrade had an impact on what we saw in this Grand Prix,” said the former Ferrari engineer.
“During the duel, of course, I wasn’t happy. I asked Oscar’s engineer to tell him that in turn 4 he was pushing a bit too hard and he immediately apologized on the radio. That makes me proud and shows the maturity and professionalism of our drivers. We try to learn from every situation, just as we learned from Canada.”
“Lando, from a human point of view, is fantastic as well as being a very fast driver. He is always very demanding of himself. So I think he wasn’t happy because he couldn’t dominate and he always asks more of himself. We are working with him on this aspect,” Andrea Stella added.
