The Spanish Grand Prix still left a bitter taste for Max Verstappen despite a fourth-place finish. The retirements of Kimi Antonelli and Charles Leclerc allowed the Dutch driver to move up the order, but the result was far from what he ultimately wants from his RB22.
There is still plenty of work to do before the car can consistently challenge its direct rivals at the front of the field. While development continues behind the scenes in Milton Keynes, the immediate priority remains maximizing every opportunity on track and extracting the best possible results from the current package.
The next stop on the Formula 1 calendar is the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring, a circuit that holds special significance for both the team and its star driver. As Red Bull prepares for its home race, Max Verstappen will once again be able to count on the support of thousands of loyal fans dressed in orange, who traditionally create one of the most memorable atmospheres of the season.
To celebrate that support, the four-time world champion has unveiled a special helmet design for the Austrian Grand Prix. The helmet features a striking all-orange look, created as a tribute to his fans and to Red Bull’s home event.
It is not the first time Max Verstappen has chosen such a design. He adopted a similar approach during the 2024 season, when he used an orange-themed helmet throughout several European rounds of the championship.
Sharing the design on his social media channels, the Dutch driver wrote: “Back in orange, can’t wait for next week!”
All that remains now is to see what kind of weekend awaits Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing at the Red Bull Ring, where both driver and team will be eager to bounce back and fight closer to the front of the field.
