Red Bull unveils white race suits and special Max Verstappen helmet for Austin

Max Verstappen, Red Bull 2026 F1

Red Bull will adopt a special Texas-inspired look for the 2026 United States Grand Prix in Austin, with Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar set to wear white race suits instead of the team’s traditional blue.

The team revealed the special outfits through its social media channels ahead of the race weekend at the Circuit of the Americas. Verstappen has also unveiled a dedicated helmet design for the event, adding another distinctly Texan element to Red Bull’s appearance.

Red Bull unveils white race suits for Austin

Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar will both race in white suits during the United States Grand Prix weekend, replacing Red Bull’s usual dark blue colour scheme for the occasion.

The visual change forms part of the team’s special presentation for the Austin event, one of the most distinctive stops on the Formula 1 calendar. The 2026 United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas takes place in Texas, giving Red Bull a natural theme around which to build its one-off race-weekend design.

Max Verstappen reveals special Texas-themed helmet

Alongside the white suit, Verstappen has also announced a special helmet for the United States Grand Prix.

The design mirrors the white base of the race suit while still retaining Red Bull’s traditional colours. The most distinctive change, however, appears on the top of the helmet.

Verstappen’s familiar lion emblem, which has been part of the four-time world champion’s visual identity for years, remains in place but receives a unique Austin modification for this race.

For the United States Grand Prix, the lion is shown wearing a cowboy hat, creating a clear reference to Texas and the local culture surrounding the race weekend.

Verstappen adds Texas twist to familiar helmet identity

The special design therefore combines Verstappen’s established helmet imagery with a one-off element created specifically for Austin. Rather than abandoning his usual identity, the Dutch driver has adapted one of its most recognisable features to match the setting of the Grand Prix.

Red Bull’s white suits and Verstappen’s cowboy-themed lion will give the team a noticeably different appearance when Formula 1 returns to the Circuit of the Americas for the United States Grand Prix.
