Max Verstappen shines in Las Vegas: “Next year will be tough!”. Max Verstappen secures his fourth consecutive world title after P5 in Las Vegas.

Max Verstappen, 2024 F1

Max, Max, Super Max! In the stunning setting of Las Vegas, Max Verstappen secures his fourth consecutive world title: a fifth-place finish crowns him the 2024 F1 world champion. At the end of the Grand Prix, the Red Bull driver shared his feelings after a season that was more challenging than expected.

Max Verstappen, it’s four: you are the 2024 F1 world champion! The Dutchman finished the race in Nevada behind the two Mercedes, who delivered an outstanding performance, and the two Ferraris. The champion from Hasselt drove with precision and caution, avoiding unnecessary risks while managing his lead over chaser Lando Norris.

Reflecting on a challenging season
At the end of the Las Vegas GP, Max Verstappen reviewed the various phases of the championship. “It’s been a long season. We started well, then went through a difficult period, but the team stayed united.”

“We kept working on the updates, and in the end, we achieved the goal. We should be proud of all the work we’ve done,” Max continued. “Being here as a four-time world champion is something I never thought could happen. I feel relieved but also very proud.”

Four titles in a row is a dream come true for Max Verstappen: “Did I expect this when I joined F1 at 17? Definitely not! I was just happy to be here, dreaming of wins and podiums, which are already very hard to achieve. Then we began this streak after a few tough years. Being here with a fourth title is incredible.”

It’s been a tough season for Red Bull and Max Verstappen, who reflected on the lessons of 2024: “The season has been very challenging, even on a personal level. At times, it was really tough, and I had to stay calm. I still prefer a season like last year—it was so much fun! But this season taught me a lot, and I’m proud of how we managed everything as a team. In many ways, this season is also special and beautiful.”

Gratitude to fans and team
“It’s amazing to see fans everywhere, and the support they give me is incredible,” Max Verstappen said, thanking his supporters. “Last year, they got a bit spoiled—too many wins!” he joked.

“This year, they had to wait a bit longer, but they always supported me. What can I say to the team? We’ve been through so much together. It’s special to reach these heights with people who keep pushing to give me a championship-winning car,” said the 2024 F1 world champion, Max Verstappen.

Verstappen remains hungry, but 2025 will be a tough battle
The Red Bull and world champion enjoys his well-earned triumph but is already looking ahead. Regarding 2025, Verstappen expects an even tougher challenge: “Looking at the current situation, 2025 will probably bring a fight with multiple teams. I’m definitely still hungry.”

“There are still two races I want to approach in the best way possible. Then we’ll take a break and come back ready to fight next year!”
