For the first time in Formula 1 history, all ten teams will unveil their cars at a single mega event set to take place in London at the iconic O2 Arena on February 18 at 8:00 p.m.
To celebrate its 75th anniversary, Formula 1 has decided to go big, allowing fans to witness the unveiling of all ten cars for the 2025 season in one evening. This unique event is generating massive excitement, with hundreds of thousands of social media users eager to grab a ticket to attend the show. While everyone is eager to see what the event will actually entail, Max Verstappen is the only driver (so far) who hasn’t shown much enthusiasm.
Always a Maverick
“I hope I’m sick that week,” commented the Dutch champion during one of his usual live streams with Team Redline. The three-time world champion is known for his lack of interest in non-racing events, especially those not directly related to on-track activities.
Just think back to last year, when Max Verstappen harshly criticized the extravagant opening ceremony of the Las Vegas GP, held on the Wednesday of race week as a special exception.
“For me, you can skip all that stuff,” he said at the time. “It’s not about the singer, but just standing there, you look like a clown. I always like to focus on performance. I don’t enjoy everything that goes on around it. I know, of course, that in some places, it’s part of the package, but let’s say it’s not my interest.” – he admitted.
Who knows if this time Max will change his mind once he sees the full show come together.
