Anyway, I can’t wait for Christmas.” Alongside this, a team radio emerged: “If this is my last chance to perform, I’m sorry it went this way.” Immediately, everyone speculated about tensions with the team or even an early retirement, but in reality, it was just a farewell to the staff who wouldn’t be attending the final triple-header.
Ahead of the media day before the Las Vegas GP, Lewis Hamilton wanted to clarify the meaning of those words. “I didn’t want to come back after that weekend.
