Here’s how Pierre Gasly can make history in Formula 1. Pierre Gasly has the chance to make Formula 1 history in this season's finale.

Pierre Gasly, Alpine 2024 F1

Pierre Gasly has the chance to make Formula 1 history in this season’s finale. The Frenchman needs just one thing, though it’s far from guaranteed.

The Alpine driver holds—at least so far—the extraordinary record of not having damaged a single component of his car in 2024.

His team, therefore, has never had to replace any part of his car with a spare due to an incident.

This incredible stat highlights the solid season Pierre Gasly is delivering, but he needs to maintain this trend to officially secure his place in Formula 1 history.

No driver has ever completed an entire season without incurring even $1 of damage. Will the former Red Bull driver succeed in this seemingly impossible mission? We’ll have to wait and see.
