Hadjar downplays speculation about his future: “I really don’t care”
Isack Hadjar has handled speculation about a possible promotion to Red Bull for 2026 with ease, stating that he is not influenced by the rumors, while confirming that such a step remains his ultimate goal.
After a strong rookie season so far, highlighted by a podium in Zandvoort, the French driver is considered a leading candidate to partner Max Verstappen, especially given Yuki Tsunoda’s recent struggles. For now, Isack Hadjar remains focused on the Baku Grand Prix weekend, where he expects challenges related to the asphalt but trusts in the solid pace the Racing Bulls have shown in qualifying.
Isack Hadjar’s 2026 prospects
Despite widespread speculation about a potential promotion to Red Bull’s senior team alongside Max Verstappen next season, Helmut Marko has emphasized that the team is in no rush to decide on its second driver. According to Marko, the decision will not be made before the Mexican Grand Prix at the end of October.
Ahead of this weekend’s race in Baku, Isack Hadjar was interviewed regarding the growing rumors about his future. The French driver, already recognized for his charisma, responded:
“Honestly, I really don’t care. I have an idea, but I don’t know. I don’t care about the rumors, really I don’t. I had five days off at home. I had other things to do than scroll through Instagram.”
Isack Hadjar’s focus remains fully on extracting maximum performance from his car and continuing to build momentum in his rookie season, showing maturity beyond his years as he navigates both on-track challenges and off-track speculation.
