Honda reveals the 2026 Aston Martin power unit sound

Aston Martin will be one of the last teams to unveil its 2026 Formula 1 car, with the official AMR26 presentation scheduled for Monday, February 9. While fans eagerly await the new car, Honda has already offered an early preview of its power unit, which will supply the British team starting next season.

On its official social media channels, the Japanese manufacturer posted a short video featuring a frequency meter, accompanied by the first sound of the 2026 engine. The twenty-second clip, titled “The Sound of 2026,” showcases the 1.6-liter V6 internal combustion engine, giving fans a first impression of what the Aston Martin power units for Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll will sound like on track.
