Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman together for the first time: Haas has officially announced its 2025 driver lineup with a selfie.
After parting ways with Alpine, the Frenchman has found a new home with the American team. The Ferrari Driver Academy talent, on the other hand, impressed last year when he stepped in for an unavailable Carlos Sainz at Ferrari during the Jeddah race (where he scored his first points with a seventh-place finish).
Later in the season, Oliver Bearman was called up by Haas as a full-time driver for the Azerbaijan GP (finishing tenth) and in Brazil, replacing Kevin Magnussen.
Yesterday, Ferrari junior Oliver Bearman was the first to take the wheel, reacquainting himself with an F1 car. On the Jerez circuit, the 19-year-old participated in a test session with the VF-23.
“I just finished my first test here with the team,” he commented in a video shared on social media. “My neck hurt a bit, but I enjoyed it, and now I can’t wait to get to Bahrain and then Melbourne.”
Today, it was Esteban Ocon’s turn, making his debut on track with Haas, also at Jerez.
The 2025 Haas driver lineup marks a complete renewal following Kevin Magnussen‘s departure from F1 and Nico Hulkenberg’s move to Sauber. For Oliver Bearman, learning as much as possible from a seasoned veteran like his new teammate will be essential. Before deciding on Haas, Esteban Ocon even visited Grove for a seat fitting with Williams.
