Following in the footsteps of Mercedes, Haas has officially updated its logo to incorporate the presence of Toyota Gazoo Racing, the team’s strategic partner. The historic Japanese manufacturer makes its return to the Formula 1 Paddock alongside the American outfit. The collaboration between the two brands is driven by a shared desire to progress in motorsport and invest in the development of young driving talent.
The team has been officially renamed the TGR Haas F1 Team to reflect this significant new collaboration. While Toyota has recently been a dominant force in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), it has now fortified its presence within the Formula 1 circus. Substantial investments have already been made into simulator technology, with the Japanese manufacturer providing a major boost to Haas’s technical infrastructure.
The new logo for the American team
As the 2026 season kicks into gear, teams across the grid have begun announcing their latest structural changes. Haas joins Mercedes in unveiling a new official logo that celebrates its partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR). This alliance highlights yet another major automotive manufacturer making its mark on the F1 world, alongside the arrival of Cadillac and Audi, both of whom will field their own teams starting in 2026.
The initial agreement between the two companies actually began back in 2024, though the scope of the project was considerably smaller than it is today. While Haas will continue to utilize Power Units supplied by Ferrari, Toyota’s contribution is expanding across various technical departments. Beyond their vast motorsport expertise, the Japanese giant will offer support in aerodynamic development and driver academies. A key component of this partnership is the TPC (Testing of Previous Cars) program, which the team successfully organized throughout 2025.

Haas is scheduled to reveal its 2026 livery on January 23rd via an online launch event. Following the reveal, the team will head to Barcelona, where the new VF-26 will make its official on-track debut during pre-season testing.
This transition marks a pivotal moment for Haas as they evolve from a customer-reliant model to a more technically integrated partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing. By blending Ferrari power with Toyota’s aerodynamic and developmental resources, the TGR Haas F1 Team is positioning itself to be a serious contender in the midfield as the 2026 regulations reset the competitive order. All eyes will now be on the January launch to see how this new identity translates to the VF-26’s physical appearance.
