Williams unveils ‘Flow State’ livery for January pre-season tests
The 2026 pre-season tests will be crucial, with the first session moved to January. Many teams are expected to play a game of hide-and-seek, attempting to keep the details of their new cars hidden from competitors during this early session.
Williams has become the first team to reveal the livery it will use for the car during the Barcelona tests from 26 to 30 January 2026. The design, named ‘Flow State’, received the highest number of fan votes worldwide.
‘Flow State’ dominates the fan vote
Williams reports that fans from 162 countries participated in the vote, totaling 54,718 voters. The ‘Flow State’ livery captured almost one-third of the total votes. According to the team, the name is a tribute to the high-intensity mental focus state that their drivers adopt to extract every millisecond of performance from the car.
Team principal reacts to the vote
Following the announcement, Williams team principal James Vowles said: “Thanks to all our incredible fans around the world. They shared their opinion on how we should enter this new era for Formula 1. ‘Flow State’ is a worthy winner and we are excited to bring the fans along with us when we hit the track for the first time. We have high expectations for 2026. This is just the beginning.”
