F1 unleashes its creativity in Miami: Sauber also unveils a special livery – here are the photos of the C45. For the first U.S. race of the championship, the Swiss team embraces modern art. The team’s signature colors, neon green and black, are reinterpreted to give the car a sense of “depth” and “excitement.” The new design will also extend to the garage and driver suits.
The Miami Grand Prix is a symbol of Formula 1’s growing focus on the U.S. market. An economy increasingly captivated by the premier motorsport series, despite fierce competition from local championships like NASCAR and IndyCar. It’s no surprise, then, that teams aim to appeal to overseas fans and new commercial partners, including through special liveries.
Ferrari, Racing Bulls, Mercedes, and now Sauber: many teams are ready to present new colors for the first of three American rounds this season. The Swiss team—soon to become Audi from 2026—has introduced a new design, in collaboration with Stake, to mark the sixth race of the season. The green and black remain, but the livery changes.
Sauber: “The new livery is more than just a new look”
Stefano Battiston, CCO of Sauber, commented on the team’s special livery: “This livery is more than just a new look: it’s a celebration of Miami’s creative spirit and our commitment to energizing the sport for our fans.”
“Our goal in developing this livery with Stake was to stand out—not just for our performance on the track, but also for our boldness and creativity off it. Our team is dedicated to creating memorable moments and immersive experiences, and this special Miami edition is a perfect example of that.”
