Max Verstappen’s words during the press conference
This was one of the topics Max Verstappen addressed during media day, which kicked off the weekend at the Red Bull Ring. “I’ll try to do my best as usual. It’s definitely a track where I feel comfortable since we’ve won a lot here in the past. It should be a hot weekend, so we’ll have to manage tyre wear well. We’ll have some small updates on our car that should help us be more competitive. But the others will do the same, so we’ll have to see who makes the biggest step forward,” said the three-time world champion.
“As for Vettel possibly returning to Red Bull, I don’t know what to say. He’s certainly a driver who has achieved a lot, and there will always be a place for him in our team. He also has a great relationship with Helmut, although I didn’t know they were in contact about his return,” Max Verstappen added during the press conference.
