Audi has taken a new and decisive step towards its entry into Formula 1 in 2026. The German manufacturer has officially confirmed the name Audi Revolut F1 Team, unveiled the team logo and announced that the global launch of the project will take place in Berlin. This marks a key milestone and represents the concrete beginning of the final phase leading up to Audi’s debut in the Formula 1 World Championship.
An identity that brings together Audi and Revolut
The team’s name is the result of the partnership between Audi F1 and Revolut, the global fintech company that was already confirmed as title partner in July 2025. This is not a traditional sponsorship agreement, but a strategic collaboration aimed at redefining how a Formula 1 team connects with its fans and engages with the digital world.
The partnership will also extend to several key operational areas. Revolut Business will be integrated into the team’s financial operations, while Revolut Pay will be implemented in the official online store, ensuring a smoother and more immediate purchasing experience for fans around the world.
Berlin at the heart of the debut with the 2026 car presentation
January 20, 2026 will mark the first full presentation of the Audi Revolut F1 Team identity. The event, designed as an immersive experience, will highlight the core pillars of the brand: clarity, technical intelligence and emotion. The following day, January 21, the event will also be opened to the public, allowing fans to take part in a historic moment for the Audi brand.
A central element of the launch will be the unveiling of the final livery of the 2026 car, following the reveal of the Audi R26 concept last November. With less than 50 days to go before the first Grand Prix of the season, Audi will showcase how its design philosophy will translate onto the Formula 1 starting grid.
The corporate structure also changes
The creation of the Audi Revolut F1 Team also brings significant organisational changes. Sauber Motorsport AG will be renamed Audi Motorsport AG, while the technology centre in Bicester, United Kingdom, will become the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK.
The names Sauber Holding AG and Sauber Technologies AG will remain unchanged, underlining a sense of continuity with the team’s heritage while Audi prepares for its new era in Formula 1.
