Extra work for the two teams at Zandvoort

During the second practice session of the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, there were several interruptions. The first red flag was caused by Lance Stroll running off track, locking his front-left wheel into Turn 3 and crashing into the barriers, causing significant damage to the right side of his Aston Martin.

Later, the Race Direction neutralized the session with a Virtual Safety Car due to a technical problem for Isack Hadjar. The French driver was able to bring his Racing Bulls to a recovery point, so the marshals did not require another red flag.

Both Aston Martin and Racing Bulls had to break the curfew to work on the cars. For both teams, it was the first ‘joker’ used in 2025 within the designated time slot. For this reason, no penalties will be applied to Stroll or Hadjar.
