F1 | What will Hadjar’s future in F1 be? Here are his words
Isack Hadjar addressed the media about his future in Formula 1 during the pre-race press conference. The question on everyone’s mind is clear: will he have a seat on the grid next year?
The French driver heads into the Dutch Grand Prix determined to collect as many points as possible. His summer break was not just about rest, but also hard work to be ready for the restart of the season. Hadjar also admitted that while he knows the Zandvoort track well, it is not among his favourites:
“The holidays went well, but I also worked a lot to be prepared for the restart. I don’t particularly love the Zandvoort circuit, but what really matters is trying to be fast.”
The goal is clear: back into the points
Isack Hadjar has not scored points since the Spanish Grand Prix, and he is aiming to end that streak in the Netherlands:
“I haven’t finished in the points since Spain, but it’s just a matter of avoiding mistakes. As a team we are scoring points, and that is a good sign, but it’s up to me to do a better job. I have to keep pushing, trying different things and learning as much as I can, even if sometimes that means making mistakes.”
Isack Hadjar’s future: “I don’t know anything about it”
As expected, one of the main questions during the press conference was about his future in Formula 1. On this matter, however, Isack Hadjar decided to remain vague:
“I don’t know anything about my future, nothing to say about it.”
In recent weeks, several rumors suggested he could replace Yuki Tsunoda at Red Bull, but for now there is nothing official. What is certain is that this second part of the season is crucial for Hadjar, who needs to prove he deserves a seat on the grid in 2026.
At the moment, he sits in thirteenth place in the championship standings with 22 points, while his teammate is just two points behind him. According to Autosport, Isack Hadjar would actually prefer to remain with Racing Bulls rather than step up to Red Bull alongside Max Verstappen, but ultimately the decision lies entirely with the team.
