Alpine to race with a special livery in Austin and beyond
The United States Grand Prix will see several teams on track with special liveries: from the newly crowned world champions at McLaren to the ‘scientists’ at Aston Martin, as well as Williams revisiting a historic design, along with new looks from Racing Bulls and Haas, the latter celebrating a ‘Made in USA’ theme for its home Grand Prix. Recently, another unique livery has been unveiled specifically for the Texas weekend, but not limited to it.
Alpine collaborates with Mercado Libre for a unique look
Specifically, Alpine revealed a special livery created in collaboration with Mercado Libre, featuring the distinctive yellow of the sponsor, which will appear in the United States, as well as at the upcoming Mexican and Brazilian races. The livery also launches the “Unidos por la velocidad” (United for Speed) campaign, developed by Mercado Libre with its agency GUT in collaboration with Alpine driver Franco Colapinto and footballer Neymar Jr.
Franco Colapinto becomes Mercado Libre ambassador
The initiative sees the Argentine driver serving as Mercado Libre’s on-track ambassador, aiming to create a new strategic alliance between the company and Alpine, especially during a period of growing F1 popularity in Latin America. “Racing with the colors of Mercado Libre is very special for me,” said Franco Colapinto. “It means bringing to the track a brand born in my country that now represents millions of Latin Americans on the global stage. For any driver, competing in Formula 1 is a dream. I am living mine with commitment, dedication, and the support of an incredible team. Doing this alongside Mercado Libre, a company that continues to support me and shares my values of dedication and perseverance, makes it even more meaningful.”
