Decisions postponed
Even before the Mexican Grand Prix, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko had hinted that the decisions regarding the future line-ups for both the Milton Keynes team and Faenza’s Racing Bulls would be made after the race at the ‘Hermanos Rodriguez’ circuit. However, the Austrian manager later revised the announcement schedule, postponing it until the end of the season to ensure the teams focused on achieving key objectives without distracting or deconcentrating the drivers.
Yuki Tsunoda speaks ahead of Las Vegas GP
Yuki Tsunoda confirmed this directly on the eve of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The Japanese driver is not only focused on helping Red Bull secure second place in the Constructors’ Championship, but also on maintaining his seat for 2026. “All I know is that the decision has not been made yet,” Yuki Tsunoda told the official F1 channel. “It is not true that it was decided after Mexico City. We’ll see. What I can say is that I am giving my best, and in any case, I cannot control these things. I just want to enjoy each GP and perform at my best, as I always do.” – the Japanese driver pointed out.
He added: “I have no thoughts about my future – I am just motivated to give my maximum effort and want to score as many points as possible, especially in the final races. The last GPs have been inconsistent, particularly Brazil. It was a race where I could have easily scored more points, with an eighth or seventh place even before Mexico. So far I’ve lost some points for reasons beyond my control. The good news is that the pace is good, and in every race, I can fight for points, which is the most important thing. That will always be the goal for the next three GPs.” – the Red Bull driver concluded.
