The team faced multiple setbacks at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, beginning with the first-lap contact between Carlos Sainz and Liam Lawson. The incident not only impacted the New Zealander’s race but also triggered a series of pit stop issues for Smooth Operator. Meanwhile, Alex Albon endured what he called the “worst strategy ever.”

Williams now aims to turn the page and approach Brazil with optimism. Interlagos brings positive memories for Sainz, who claimed his first F1 podium there in 2019. The former Ferrari driver wants to continue that momentum and return to scoring points after a disrupted weekend in Austin.
