Originally Toro Rosso, then AlphaTauri, and now VCARB, the team could be headed for a fourth official rebranding in the 2025 Formula 1 championship, just a year after its third name change.
The Hungarian outlet formula.hu reports that the Italian team is likely to adopt the simpler name “Racing Bulls” next season.
When the latest rebranding was introduced earlier this year, fans and industry insiders criticized it as overly commercial, finding the new name cumbersome and awkward to pronounce.
Despite the potential name change, the team’s commercial agreements with Visa and CashApp, two main sponsors this season, are expected to remain unaffected.
Due to the name’s complexity and length, the Faenza team has already often been referred to as Racing Bulls or RB this season. Red Bull’s leadership is reportedly now taking fan complaints seriously.
