Ready to compete in his first Formula 1 season with Mercedes, Kimi Antonelli could already break or equal several records in 2025.
After getting a first taste (though not a very fortunate one) of what will be his debut Formula 1 experience at Monza, Kimi Antonelli is prepared for the big leap, ready to carry Mercedes on his shoulders and make up for the void Lewis Hamilton will leave at the end of the season. He is fully aware of the pressure and the enormous expectations that fans and the media have placed on him.
At just 18 years old, the young talent from Bologna will not be the youngest driver to debut in Formula 1 (a record held by Max Verstappen, who debuted with Toro Rosso in 2015 at 17 years and 166 days), but he will still have the chance to break or equal several records. Here are a few of them:
1) Youngest driver to win a Grand Prix
Current record: Max Verstappen (18 years and 228 days), 2016 Spanish GP with Red Bull.
2) Youngest driver to secure pole position
