Miami, is Kick Sauber changing its look?
The Miami Grand Prix this weekend will give teams the chance to freshen up their look and race with special colors. After Ferrari’s livery, which will be unveiled on April 30 (and possibly Racing Bulls and Mercedes making official announcements about their changes), it’s now Kick Sauber’s turn. The Hinwil team hasn’t officially announced a livery change, but they’ve strongly hinted at it on social media.
The post
On its social media channels, Kick Sauber published a video showing a C45 entering a garage (Miami Customs). This video reference – reminiscent of the GTA video game series – alludes to a possible color change for the car.
Nico Hülkenberg’s comments
Meanwhile, Hinwil is focusing on the Miami weekend, which will host the second Sprint event of the season. Nico Hülkenberg commented, “It’s fantastic to return to Miami, where I’ve enjoyed racing in recent years. There’s a special atmosphere at this unique circuit all weekend, which makes it even more exciting. I like the track, and Sprint weekends are always very challenging – there’s no time to relax. You immediately enter qualifying mode after just one practice session, so it’s crucial to position the car well from the start.”
Gabriel Bortoleto’s comments
“Miami is a track I’ve never raced on before, and I can’t wait to discover it,” added Gabriel Bortoleto. “After Jeddah, I was able to spend some time on the simulator to get a better understanding of the circuit, and now I can’t wait to actually drive on it. This is only my second Sprint event, but I feel well-prepared and focused on making the most of it.”
