Still together
Just hours before the presentation of the new Red Bull RB21, the Milton Keynes team officially announced the agreement reached with Hexagon for the renewal of their multi-year partnership. The Swedish company, a leader in automation and measurement technology, will therefore continue its collaboration with the six-time Constructors’ World Champion and eight-time Drivers’ World Champion team, extending a partnership that has lasted for 18 years.
The agreement
In addition to Hexagon’s logo appearing on the lower sidepod of the car, the company will expand its involvement in the Sim Racing team, focusing on the engineering sector to bridge the gap between simulated racing and F1. According to Red Bull, failures have decreased by 50% in the past two years thanks to Hexagon’s ultra-fast scanning technologies, which ensure that every component is produced with the required precision and quality while the car is assembled for each race.
