New partnership
After Max Verstappen’s triumph in the Italian Grand Prix, Red Bull has taken another significant step, this time in the field of global partnerships. The team officially announced a multi-year agreement with Carlyle, one of the world’s largest international investment firms. With this deal, the American brand becomes the exclusive investment management partner of the Milton Keynes outfit, marking the first ever partnership between an F1 team and a company operating in the private markets sector.

The agreement includes Carlyle branding on the chassis of the cars, in the garage, and on the drivers’ race suits. Beyond that, Red Bull will provide the American company with a platform to engage clients, partners, and communities worldwide. “We are delighted to welcome Carlyle to the team,” said Red Bull Team Principal Laurent Mekies. “Both our organisations are built on world-class talent, bold ideas, and the drive to perform at the highest levels. As an iconic name in global finance, Carlyle brings a long-term perspective and a growing network, and we look forward to building a powerful partnership both on and off the track. Formula 1 demands relentless focus and precision, and we see a clear alignment with Carlyle’s approach to investment.”
These comments were echoed by Carlyle CEO Harvey Schwartz: “Our industry is undergoing an extraordinary transformation, driven by greater access to private markets and the rise of a new generation of investors. The same spirit of growth and inclusivity is reshaping Formula 1, with Oracle Red Bull Racing at the forefront of expanding the sport to new audiences globally. This partnership brings together two high-performance teams powered by innovation and excellence. We are excited to collaborate with one of the most renowned brands in global sport to reach new audiences and create long-term value together.”
