The wave of aesthetic novelties launched by various Formula 1 teams for the Miami Grand Prix, taking place this weekend on the street circuit of one of the most famous destinations in Florida and the United States, continues. After Ferrari, which unveiled its T-shirts for this weekend (without ruling out a special livery for the car, to be presented on Wednesday, as well as one for Racing Bulls), another team has announced something new: Mercedes.
This time, the new look does not concern the car, but a summer collection created by Adidas, the supplier of Mercedes’ sportswear and currently in its first year in Formula 1. Specifically, the German brand decided to draw inspiration from Miami’s mangroves, creating a shirt in off-white, burgundy, and coral colors, completed by three white stripes on each shoulder and the Adidas logo on the chest, without omitting the Mercedes logo. This color mix appears not only on the T-shirt but also on trousers, jackets, and accessories throughout the entire ‘Miami 2025’ collection.
“Miami is one of the most anticipated races on the calendar, a city known for both sport and style, making it the ideal location for the debut of the first Adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Race Day collection for summer 2025,” said Michael Batz, Motorsport Category Manager at Adidas. “For this collection, we wanted to capture the essence of Miami in a fresh and unexpected way, bringing it to life with bold colors and prints that will add a vibrant touch of Miami style to the F1 paddock this May.”
