After the double podium at Imola, McLaren heads to Monaco with the goal of repeating the result and aiming to return to the top step of the podium. The British team is the most successful on the streets of the Principality, with no fewer than fifteen victories: will they manage to secure another win?
Lando Norris vs Oscar Piastri: who will come out on top?
“I’m excited to be in Monaco this weekend. Over the years it has seen many special moments, so it’s always nice to race here. I’ve continued to work hard with the team ahead of the weekend to put ourselves in the best position to build on the recent strong results,” said Lando Norris.
Looking to bounce back after his third-place finish in Imola, Oscar Piastri is counting on the good feeling he’s always had around the streets of the Principality: “Monaco was a really strong weekend for me last year and it’s a track where I’ve had good results throughout my junior career. It’s always one of the highlights of the calendar and I’m coming into this race determined, hungry, and fully focused on the unique challenge that the famous streets of Monaco represent.”
Andrea Stella’s words
“After the great start to the Imola triple-header, we now head to the Monaco Grand Prix, one of the most iconic street circuits on the calendar. We expect the competition to be tighter than ever, with the peculiarities of the Monaco track always capable of springing surprises. We remain focused on ourselves and turn our attention to the next part of the triple-header,” he concluded.
The Woking team remains among the favorites for victory, but caution is needed in Monaco: surprises are always around the corner, and with the mandatory two-stop strategy, race tactics will be even more crucial.
