Verstappen at Spielberg, but his mind is on the Spa 24 Hours GT race
Max Verstappen has a unique ability to stand out even during the quieter moments of a Formula 1 weekend. On Thursday at the Red Bull Ring, traditionally dedicated to media activities, the four-time world champion once again demonstrated his deep passion for motorsport, particularly GT racing, a discipline that has become an increasingly important part of his racing interests.
While waiting to meet members of the written press, including the journalists from GP-News.net, Verstappen managed to find a quiet corner inside the busy Red Bull hospitality area. There, away from the surrounding activity, he focused intently on the onboard footage from the opening free practice sessions of the Spa 24 Hours, following every lap with remarkable concentration.
His interest is far from casual. Verstappen.com Racing is competing in this year’s Belgian endurance classic with its No. 3 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, driven by Dani Juncadella, Chris Lulham and Jules Gounon. Even while preparing for one of the most important Formula 1 weekends of the season at Red Bull’s home circuit, Max Verstappen still found time to closely monitor the progress of his GT racing project, underlining just how passionate he remains about every form of motorsport.
