Lewis Hamilton out in Q1 again: “This damn car…” | F1 Brazil GP. Lewis Hamilton’s Team Radio after Q1 exit in Brazil.

Brazilian F1 Qualifying session, Lewis Hamilton Out Early
For the second time in the last three qualifying sessions, Lewis Hamilton was eliminated in Q1. After the United States Grand Prix in Austin, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion was also knocked out in the first round in “his” Brazil. On the wet Interlagos track, Lewis Hamilton couldn’t find the right lap, meaning he’ll start today’s race from only 16th position.

A costly mistake at Subida do Lago during his final attempt on full wet tires sealed the Mercedes driver’s fate, though he struggled throughout Q1. In fact, if the weather conditions had worsened after the red flag for Franco Colapinto’s crash, Lewis Hamilton could have started last.

Lewis Hamilton’s Team Radio Message
The seven-time Formula 1 world champion’s frustration came through in a few but pointed words: “This damn car, guys… I have no rear grip.” George Russell also found himself struggling for several minutes at the 4.309-kilometre Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace in Brazil, but #63 managed to pull through, securing third-fastest in Q1 with a time a full two seconds better than his Mercedes teammate.
