It’s set to be a fiery end to the 2024 Formula 1 season. Six races will decide who becomes the new World Champion, with a battle between Lando Norris’s McLaren and Max Verstappen’s Red Bull that could remain uncertain until the very last race. While it’s unlikely they’ll arrive in Abu Dhabi tied on points, as happened in 2021, the feeling is that the final race will decide the title fight.
The Briton is fifty-two points behind the Dutchman but can rely on a car that, in recent months, has proven to be the fastest on track. Without the strategic errors made by Andrea Stella’s team, the gap between the two could have been narrower at this point in the season.
Lando Norris renews the challenge
Three weeks ahead of the United States Grand Prix weekend in Austin, Lando Norris has reignited the challenge to Red Bull with some bold statements. “We’re doing a better job as a team. Our car is faster than theirs,” said the British driver.
“Credit to the team because they’re doing an amazing job. Recently, we’ve tried new things and have been very smart, like creating a mini DRS and stuff like that.” – he pointed out.
“I’m giving it my all. I’ll try to do everything I can to win the title. At the same time, Max will do the same to prevent it. We’ll just have to wait and see who comes out on top,” concluded Lando Norris, ahead of the United States Grand Prix, which is scheduled to take place in Austin at the 5.513-kilometre Circuit of The Americas.
