Lando Norris has officially launched LN4 Fusion, a new motorsport team that will compete across several junior categories from next season, including Formula 3. The reigning Formula 1 world champion has co-founded the project with executive Dan Richards, while former Prema figure René Rosin will serve as team principal.
The project had been taking shape for some time and was finally announced just days before the Italian Grand Prix, where Formula 3 and Formula 2 will return to action after their long summer break. LN4 Fusion has effectively taken over the current AIX Racing operation, which had been due to compete in Formula 3 in 2027, and the new organisation has already confirmed several of the senior figures who will lead the team.
Lando Norris builds LN4 Fusion management team
At the head of the project will be René Rosin, whose long career with Prema included more than 40 championship titles. He will now take on the role of team principal at LN4 Fusion.
Dan Hazlewood will also serve as a team principal, although his responsibility will be focused on the British championships in which LN4 Fusion will compete. Hazlewood previously guided Fusion Motorsport to success in numerous domestic and international karting series.
Guillame Capietto has also joined the organisation as Racing Director, completing another key part of the new team’s senior structure.
Lando Norris also launches LN4 Legacy academy
The project extends beyond the creation of a racing team. Lando Norris has also established his own driver academy, called LN4 Legacy, which will be managed by Julian Rouse.
The academy is designed to complement the racing operation by supporting talented young drivers and helping them access opportunities that might otherwise be beyond their reach.
LN4 Fusion to compete in F4, Formula Regional and Formula 3
LN4 Fusion is set to make its competitive debut next season across several categories. The team will enter both Italian and British Formula 4, as well as the Formula Regional European Championship, before also competing in Formula 3.
A further project aimed at entering Formula 2 also remains under consideration, although that programme has not yet been officially confirmed.
Lando Norris explained that both LN4 Fusion and LN4 Legacy have been created around the same objective: providing young drivers with the right environment and opportunities to progress through motorsport.
“You need the right people around you, the right support and the right opportunities at the right time,” Lando Norris said. “That’s exactly what these two projects are about. LN4 Fusion aims to create a team capable of competing at the highest level of junior motorsport, bringing together great professionals and giving drivers the ideal environment in which to develop.”
“The LN4 Legacy programme, meanwhile, aims to help talented young drivers gain opportunities they otherwise wouldn’t have. For me, these two projects fit perfectly together.”
“I want to help create opportunities for the next generation, both on and off the track, and I hope I can really make a difference for young drivers coming into the sport.”
Lando Norris also thanked two of his long-standing commercial partners for supporting the new venture.

With LN4 Fusion preparing to enter multiple junior championships and LN4 Legacy focused on developing young talent, Lando Norris is expanding his involvement in motorsport well beyond his own Formula 1 career. The Formula 3 programme will represent one of the most significant steps in that project when the new team joins the championship next season.
