The Cadillac team has just revealed the special livery it will use during its first pre-season testing session in Barcelona: here are all the photos. A few minutes ago, on its social media channels, Cadillac — set to make its Formula 1 debut in 2026 — shared images of the unique livery it will run in the Barcelona tests. The journey of the American team in the pinnacle of motorsport has officially begun: here are the photos.
Cadillac’s special livery
From 26 to 30 January, teams will take to the track for the first pre-season testing session. It will be the first time that the new generation of F1 cars will hit a circuit. For this special event — which holds even greater significance for Cadillac, as these will be the team’s first ever kilometers in Formula 1 — a unique livery was chosen.
The design is dominated by a monochromatic scheme, played on dark shades and sharp contrasts, immediately evoking the stylistic language of the American brand. The surfaces of the car are painted with clean, geometric lines that convey technology, speed, and engineering precision. At the center of the visual composition stands the Cadillac emblem, integrated discreetly but decisively, highlighting the pride and heritage of a manufacturer aiming to make a mark in Formula 1.
Cadillac will use this testing phase to collect feedback, refine details, and prepare as thoroughly as possible for its debut in Australia. According to the statement released by the team: “The livery features a bold yet precise design, created specifically for the needs of pre-season development.” Barcelona, always a technical proving ground for teams and drivers, becomes the ideal stage for the first encounter between the car and the track.
As a tribute to the joint efforts between the United States and the United Kingdom, the livery also includes the names of the team’s founding members.
A design created specifically for testing
The large Cadillac emblem on the rear is positioned to both conceal aerodynamic surfaces and boldly showcase Cadillac’s arrival on the global motorsport scene. “It will help mask the bodywork in a clever display of the brand’s DNA,” the team explained, highlighting the balance between aesthetics and technical purpose in this first F1 appearance.
