FIA carries out technical checks on Max Verstappen’s Red Bull after F1 Saudi Arabian GP. FIA randomly inspected Max Verstappen's Red Bull after the Saudi Arabian GP.

As per the regulations, at the end of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, one car was randomly selected by FIA delegates for more in-depth technical checks beyond the standard weight and plank wear inspections. These checks have already led to the disqualification of four cars in the first five races of the season (the two Ferrari SF-25 cars and Pierre Gasly’s Alpine in China, and Nico Hülkenberg’s Sauber in Bahrain).

The car chosen for detailed inspection was Max Verstappen’s Red Bull, which finished the Jeddah GP in second place behind Oscar Piastri’s McLaren. The stewards focused on the air intake of the power unit and the entire cooling system, including of course the sensors responsible for transmitting all related data to the standard ECU.

All elements inspected were found to be compliant with the current technical regulations.
