Red Bull, new look in Singapore: camo uniform designed by Hypebeast
Red Bull Racing and Castore, the team’s official apparel partner, have joined forces with Hypebeast to create a limited-edition team kit featuring an exclusive night camouflage pattern. The new design will make its debut this weekend at the Singapore Grand Prix, before returning under the bright lights of Las Vegas towards the end of the Formula 1 season.
Nick Stocker, commercial director of the Red Bull Group, explained: “This project with Castore and Hypebeast has set a new benchmark for creative brand collaborations. Singapore and Las Vegas are unique races on the calendar, and the design reflects the energy and atmosphere of these night Grands Prix held in the heart of the city.”
He added: “Launching this collection with Hypebeast allows us to show up in the spaces that matter to our fans. I’m excited to see the team step out with a fresh new look in Singapore.”
The collection includes a short-sleeve polo shirt, a quarter-zip long-sleeve top, and a waterproof jacket. With weather forecasts predicting extreme conditions for the Marina Bay Street Circuit, Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda could end up using all three garments from the new line.
Kevin Wong, creative vice president at Hypebeast, commented: “This partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing and Castore is a testament to our shared creative vision. We wanted to bring a fresh perspective to the iconic Oracle Red Bull Racing uniform by reimagining motorsport through a streetwear lens, creating a collection that resonates with a new generation of fans. We are incredibly excited to see the team debut our designs on the global stage.”
